This shuttle service offers convenient transportation from San Juan del Sur to Tamarindo. Enjoy a comfortable ride with wifi and air conditioning. A guide will assist you at the border with the immigration process. The shuttle also makes a pit stop in Liberia before continuing to Tamarindo.

Schedules, Pick up places, Drop off Places:

Departures from San Juan del Sur at 6:00 AM. Pick up available at hotels and hostels in downtown. Arrivals in Tamarindo at 12:00 PM. Drop off at hotels and hostels in downtown. Shuttle operates every day.

Luggage Allowance:

Each passenger is allowed 1 large bag or backpack and 1 carry-on size (computer bag).

Extra Luggage:

There is a $17 additional charge for each extra piece of luggage or surfboard bag (up to 6 ft 5 in).

Required Travel Documents:

Passengers must have a valid passport. A return flight ticket is needed when entering Costa Rica. It is advisable to carry a photocopy or picture of your passport with the entry stamp.

COVID Restrictions:

Costa Rica no longer requires any COVID-19 entry requirements as of April 1, 2022.

Estimated Border Fees:

There is a $3 fee to exit Nicaragua.
