Belize:
- Effective July 12, 2022, The Belize Tourism Board advises that the Government of Belize has decided to remove all public health measures at the points of entry in Belize (land and sea).
- Effective July 12, 2022, all Foreign Tourists entering Belize will have the option to purchase the Belize travel insurance. It is no longer mandatory but is highly recommended by the Belize Tourism Board.
Guatemala:
Currently there are no covid restrictions to enter Guatemala, the use of a mask is recommended
El Salvador:
El Salvador reopened its airport for visitors on September 19, 2020. As of November 17, 2021, El Salvador has eliminated all testing and vaccination restrictions to enter the country.
Honduras:
Currently there are no covid restrictions to enter Guatemala, the use of a mask is recommended.
Nicaragua:
- Vaccination certificate ( 2 doses )
- If unable to show proof or if unvaccinated, the traveller must present proof of a negative PCR result taken within 72 hours of arrival
Costa Rica:
Unvaccinated tourists entering Costa Rica before April 1, 2022 must buy travel/health insurance to cover any COVID care they may need and quarantine. Fully-vaccinated travelers (with vaccination completed at least 14 days before arrival) and travelers under the age of 18 are exempt from buying the travel insurance.
No Covid test is required to enter, vaccinated or not.
